We opened our Diner on July 17, 2007. My husband and I worked very hard to get the place built on site. The planning and work that went into it was more than we bargained for, and took a lot longer than we thought. The opening date was changed several times due to finalizing construction along with licenses that were needed, etc.

However, we finally were able to have a grand opening that everyone was waiting for. Of course, seeing that we opened mid summer and our locals along with vacationers couldn't wait to eat at our facility created a hardship that was unbelievable. We worked hours upon hours to try to keep up with food prep and getting the food out to our customers. Hours were long and strenuous for everyone, but all and all we managed and our staff hung in there with us. As a matter of fact many of the employees that were with us in the beginning are still with us at this time.

The first few years were trying years and we continued to work on improving our food and our menu. We know that many think that some of our food is not homemade, however, they are wrong. For instance our potatoes are freshly cooked twice daily. We have a commercial potato peeler that we've had from the beginning.

Recently we have hired a new chef who is bringing lots of new recipes and ideas.

Our Diner is family oriented, therefore, we have a Be Bop Menu for our youngsters and homemade Premium Ice Cream for all.

Young and old also enjoy our Jukebox along with Bobby Joe and the Diner ambiance and we have to include our very friendly staff.

Our goal will be to continue to do our best to serve our customers good wholesome food at reasonable prices.
